项目摘要

本研究は、中国の都市部に存在する「社区」と呼ばれるコミュニティに注目し、社区教育が住民、社区、社会全体に果たす役割を明らかにすることで、社区教育の価値と本質を再検討することを目的としている。本年度はCOVID-19の影響により、一時中断した研究を令和3年6月より再開したが、訪問先での渡航制限が課されたため、現地調査の実施が困難となり、来年度以降に延期することとなった。これにより、全体の進捗は計画よりやや遅れているが、リモートの手法を用いて資料収集とインタビュー調査を実施し、以下の研究成果が得られた。（1）先行研究については、社区教育に関する多数の文献を収集し、その概念と理念、実践の現状と課題などについて深く考察を行った。そこで、これまで論じられていなかった社区教育の新たな展開についての考察も行った。この考察結果を踏まえて、インタビュー調査を構想し、今後はさらなる調査と分析を進めていく。（2）現地調査については、COVID-19の影響により延期実施することとなったが、訪問先においては、リモート手法を用いた資料収集やインタビュー調査を実施することができた。現在はデータの整理と分析を進んでおり、研究対象者である社区教育施設の設立経緯、活動展開、評価体制の部分において中国の社区教育の実態が明らかにした。来年度は社区教育施設の参加者及び行政機関の担当者など、社区教育の実践者側に質的調査する予定である。（3）現段階の先行研究と現地調査の考察から、社区教育の新たな展開として、基層社区を中心に展開される住民自主的な学習活動が増える傾向や、NPO団体が社区教育施設の運営に関わる動き等が見られた。これらの成果をまとめ、比較国際教育学会66回で報告する予定である。また、中日教育研究学会や日中介護学会など、海外の研究者との学術交流活動に積極的に参加し、有益な報告や討論を行い、新たな知見が得られた。
