本研究はロールズの「財産所有の民主制」をフェミニスト的視点で考察・展開し、より真なる意味でのすべての人の「平等な自由」の実現を目指す思想と実践を提案するものである。今年度はロールズの「財産所有の民主制」を批判的に検討するための導きの糸として、フリッカーの『認識的不正義』を精読し、理解を深めることができた。また、本研究の開始時から始まったコロナウィルス・パンデミックも収束に向かい海外渡航が容易になったため、7月上旬にはルーマニアで開催されたIVR （国際法哲学・社会哲学会）の第30回大会で"Democratic Justice and Obligations"（「民主的な正義と責務」）というペーパーを口頭発表視し、8月下旬から9月上旬までを用いてハーバード大学図書館のロールズ・アーカイブに初めて赴き、７箱分の資料を収集し、9月下旬にはベルギーで開催されたHuman Development & Capability Association（人間開発とケイパビリティ学会）の年大会で"Is property-owning democracy good for the capability equality?"（「財産所有の民主制はケイパビリティ平等にとってよいのか」）というペーパーを口頭発表することができた。また、9月末にはオンラインで開催された日本倫理学会の第73回大会ワークショップにて、「〈認識的不正義〉を拓くージェンダー平等へ向けてー」というテーマで報告した。また、本研究の途中経過として、日本語の論文「ジェンダー正義への責任　ロールズ「財産所有のデモクラシー」の可能性」を準備することができた。次年度に論文集に収録され刊行予定である。
