项目摘要

ウイグル語訳『金光明最勝王経』の写本の大部分は、ベルリンとサンクトペテルブルグに保管されている。このうち後者の写本のテキストはW.Radloff氏によって、すでに1930年に発表されており、前者についてもS.Ch.Raschmann氏によってカタログ化され、複数のトルコ人研究者によってテキストの校訂がなされている。とはいえ、修正すべき部分が少なからず認められるため、写本を実際に閲覧することは本課題にとって必要不可欠の作業であった。今年度も、サンクトペテルブルグの東方文献研究所を訪問し写本を実見する予定であったが、コロナ禍の影響、およびロシアによるウクライナ侵攻により断念せざるをえなかった。そのような研究上の制限があるなかで、2021年度でマイクロフィルムの焼き付け写真に基づき、ウイグル文『金光明最勝王経』のテキスト入力と翻訳を継続し完了している。2022年度は、写本に基づくテキストの校訂作業を保留し、語註と語彙索引の作成に注力した。翻訳者である勝光闍梨都統（シンコ・シェリ・トゥトゥング）は、『金光明最勝王経』のほか、『大唐大慈恩寺三蔵法師伝』、『千眼千臂観世音菩薩陀羅尼神呪経』を翻訳している。そこで、勝光闍梨都統一の翻訳に使用されている仏教術語の用例を比較する作業を行った。とくに『金光明最勝王経』に挿入される唯識文献と関係の深いLehrtextと呼ばれる文献と『大唐大慈恩寺三蔵法師伝』との比較することにより、共通する表現を確認することができた。その成果は「古テュルク語訳「慈恩伝」研究の現在地と新視座」として論文化し、2024年に発表の予定である。
