项目摘要

令和４年度は，経蔵・律蔵のなかで経がどのように唱えられているかという問題に焦点を当て，今までの研究成果を踏まえ，経典読誦と読誦経典と在家者の関係について研究を進めた．平林（研究代表者）は，出家者だけでなく在家者によっても唱えられた「大経」（マハースートラ）の１つである『ニダーナサンユクタ』について研究を進め，この経のなかで経が読誦されている箇所と法門（ダルマ・パリヤーヤ）の関係について，日本印度学仏教学会で発表し，その内容を論文として発表した．読誦経典については，ゲッティンゲン科学アカデミーのChung Jin-il博士の協力の下，ドイツやイギリスなど各地に収蔵されているサンスクリット写本について研究を進めた．ドイツにある写本については平林・吹田（研究分担者）が中心となり研究会を開催し『ニダーナ・サンユクタ』などの諸写本を読み進めた．また，大英図書館に収蔵されている写本については，平林・名和（研究分担者）・唐井隆徳（佛教大学，研究協力者）が大英図書館に収蔵されている『義足経』のサンスクリット写本に関する論文を発表した．この他，吹田は『マハーパリニルヴァーナスートラ』などにみられる釈迦牟尼の教説をめぐって，サンスクリット写本などを参照し研究を進め，その解釈を検討し論文として発表した．中央アジアから出土したサンスクリット写本の書体研究としては『マハーパリニルヴァーナスートラ』の文字表の作成に取り掛かり，解像度が高い写本画像を所持しているものについてはその作業を終えた．
