项目摘要

研究者代表は、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂を主な立体造形表現の素材として、油絵具を着色剤に展開して、動物(豚)をモチーフに立体造形を制作してきた。混合による透明な材質感が皮膚の表現と類似して独自の肌理表現を研究している。実験制作では、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂とレジン樹脂等による樹脂素材の違いが与える効果について研究し考察した。そして、引き続きグレーズ技法を援用した層を重ねる方法と混合実験における物理的対処方法、助剤の添加について実証を続けている。研究者代表が実験した不飽和ポリエステル樹脂に油絵具を内部着色する事は、生き物の肌理の表現に有効であると仮定して作品の質感に貢献し、表現の独創性が表れると考えている。令和４年度は、越後妻有大地の芸術祭 2022 「里山アートどうぶつ園 ―動物たちのソーシャル・ディスタンス」展に研究作品を出品して公開した。令和3年度の実験研究の考察を令和4年度の立体造形表現を行う授業にて取り入れるなど、第３者へも理解できる研究になるように試みている。筑波大学芸術専門学群開設授業「立体加工基礎演習」「総合造形創作演習A-1」を履修した学生による立体造形作品の成果発表を筑波大学附属病院、病院のアートを育てるアートプロジェクトに参加して、「けやき棟開設10周年記念アートプロジェクトボタニカルホスピタルけやきの森にあつまるいのち」展にて公開した。令和５年度開催予定の「筑波芸術アート&デザイン・ストリート」展、オリエート・ギャラリー（東京）「いきているものたち展特殊素材による生き物をテーマとした立体造形」にて研究作品公開をする準備と制作研究を始めている。これまでの研究による考察をまとめ、令和4年度環境芸術学会に「グレーズ技法を用いた立体造形による肌理の表現」として応募し査読論文として採択された。環境芸術学会誌「環境芸術」第 30 号に掲載予定である。
