本研究は、森鴎外の文学作品・翻訳・評論などのテクストやその基盤にある文芸思想 における「言語」をめぐる諸問題を「複言語主義」から再検討する試みである。明治・大正期の代表的な作家である鴎外のテクストや思想と「言語」の関係を多角的に分析することにより、明治・大正期文学の言語環境の理解を深め、文学と「言語」の関係を批判的に再検討することで「複数言語から読む日本近現代文学」の問題系のさらなる展開を目指す。研究の３年目である2022年度は、本研究に関する研究発表を２回ベルリンで行い、それに合わせてベルリン国立図書館で調査を行った。2022年7月には、フンボルト大学における森鴎外没後100周年記念行事において、"Mori Ogai, a Multilingual Thinker" （多言語で考える人、森鴎外）と題して基調講演を行なった。基調講演では、「鴎外幼少期の言語習得と「母語」概念」「鴎外テクストにおける複数言語の使用について」「鴎外の思想における複数の言語・文化と「言語のあいだ」」の各トピックについて、現時点での研究成果を発表した。また、2023年3月には、フンボルト大学森鴎外記念館における国際ワークショップ Mori Ogai and the Diversity of Knowledge に共同企画者として参加し、ワークショップにて発表を行なった。ワークショップ発表では、「鴎外テクストにおける複数言語の使用について」のトピックについて、小説「カズイスチカ」を中心に成果を発表した。2023年3月のドイツ滞在の際には、ベルリン国立図書館において調査を行い、図書館の司書の方と今後の研究打ち合わせを行った。

This paper discusses the problems of "polylingualism" in the literary works of Morigawa and Morigawa.
