2022年度は、（１）アーカイブ調査を含む資料調査、（２）著書原稿及び派生課題の論文執筆、（３）学会での研究発表、を行った。アーカイブ調査については、2022年5～6月に Ohio State University などを訪れた。論文については、現在、関連課題の論文1編が刊行され、もう1編は、非公式のピア・レビューをもとに修正中である。学会発表については、2022年11月に開催された Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association の年大会にて、"Political Emotions in Critical Times: Twenty-First Century American Poetry and the Poetics of Enactment" といタイトルで、主に2016年以降のアメリカ詩を題材に、compassion fatigue と感情昇華について考察した。2023年3月に開催された Northeast Modern Language Association の年大会にて、世代間を超えて受けつがれるトラウマと共感の倫理性について、"Memory and Empathy: The Reconstructive Reception of Japanese American Internment Camp Poetry" というタイトルの発表をした。2023年1月開催の Modern Language Association の年大会にて、"Suffering of Others and Empathic Community-Making: An Ethical Conundrum of Modern American Poetry" というタイトルで、他者の苦しみを文学で描写する際の倫理的難題について考察した。

In November 2022, the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association held its annual conference,"Political Emotions in Critical Times: Twenty-First Century American Poetry and the Poetry of Enaction," focusing on the theme of poetry in 2016, compassion fatigue and emotional sublimation. March 2023 Northeast Modern Language Association Annual Conference,"Memory and Empathy: The Receptive Reception of Japanese American Internment Camp Poetry" "Suffering of Others and Empathic Community-Making: An Ethical Conundrum of Modern American Poetry" was held in January 2023 at the Modern Language Association Annual Conference.
