2022年度もコロナ禍で資料調査が円滑にはできず、韓国からの研究員も招聘できなかった。研究活動は天理市布留遺跡や福岡市西新町遺跡の石硯・研石候補資料を調査する中で、大きく進展した。先ず、8月22日に武末、村田、足立、古澤の4名が九州歴史資料館で、ここ5年ほどで石硯・研石候補資料が急激に増加する出発点であり、提唱者の認定基準を形成した資料でもある福岡県教委発掘の西新町遺跡出土資料を調査した際に、それらが出土遺構や層位、製作技法や使用痕跡、石質などから見て、近世の砥石であって古墳時代の石硯ではないと気づいた。そこで古澤は10月17日に福岡市内の天然砥石販売店で聞き取り調査を実施して、この石質の砥石は高価な仕上げ砥石で極端に薄くなるまで使用し、破損防止のために板に貼り付け、角を落とし、昔は側面に漆を塗ったなどの情報を得た。10月31日に武末・古澤は北九州市埋蔵文化財調査室で小倉城下町で出た近世の砥石を調査して西新町遺跡例との共通性を確認するとともに、6月に調査していた天理市布留遺跡出土の古墳時代石硯候補品の中に、旧小倉市内の近代遺構で出た明治時代の石盤と酷似する資料があることに気づいた。11月には福岡城下町出土の近世砥石の調査や九州歴史資料館での再確認調査を実施した。その結果も踏まえて、11月26日の令和4年度九州考古学会総会で4人連名で成果を発表し、『古文化談叢』第88集に論文として公表して、これまで西新町遺跡例を基に提唱された石硯・研石候補資料は全面的に見直すべきであると述べた。2月には布留遺跡資料を再度実見して石盤を含むことを再確認した。武末は3月に韓国国立中央博物館で楽浪郡関係の石硯・研石を調査して、使用痕は縦方向であることを再確認した。弥生時代の権では、武末に熊本県年の神遺跡で出た円筒権の調査依頼が来て、福岡市今宿五郎江遺跡の候補品の存在も判明した。

In June, he conducted an investigation of the candidates for ancient grave-era stone tablets unearthed from the Buru ruins in Tenri City, and the data on the Meiji era stone plates found in modern relics in the old Kokura City. In November, a survey of the modern stone unearthed in Fukuoka City and a reconfirmation survey of the Kyushu History Database were carried out. The results of the meeting were announced on November 26, 2010, and the results of the fourth annual meeting of the Kyushu Archaeological Society were presented. The 88th issue of the "Ancient Culture Discussion Series" was presented in the paper. February 2013 In March, the National Museum of Korea conducted a survey on the relationship between Shiyan and Yanshi, and reconfirmed the use of the mark. A survey of the remains of the gods of the Yayoi era and the end of Kumamoto revealed the existence of a candidate for the remains of the Imajugoro River in Fukuoka City.
