本研究の2022年度における研究成果の具体的内容や意義、重要性等は、主に以下の２点である。第一に、後述の通り海外渡航による資料・データ収集が困難だった一方で、海外渡航を要せずに入手可能な資料・データとして、具体的には、経済政策や開発計画、法制度改正などに関連する様々な文献資料や国際開発機関の二次的データなどを用いて、分析を深く進めることができた。研究発表や論文作成の準備を順調に進められた。これらの研究は、諸制度が未整備の途上国における最貧困層の生活改善や金融包摂に資するために、政策や制度、さらには開発援助の関わり方を明らかにするものである。これは、本研究の２つの主な目的のうち、貧困削減や金融包摂に資する諸制度のあり方を解明する目的に沿った、主たる研究として位置づけられる。次年度は、発表の機会を積極的に設けて、論文の完成も目指す予定である。第二に、調査予定国の感染症拡大状況や、政情不安からの治安悪化を踏まえて、海外渡航が困難であることから、現地調査の実施は見送らざるを得なかったものの、ミャンマーに関する比較的規模の大きな複数の二次的データを入手することができた。それらのデータに基づき、同国の貧困状況や政策動向、法制度の整備状況などを整理する作業を行った。貧困削減に資する知見を見出すための有益な情報が整理された。これらの研究活動は、世帯レベルなどのミクロデータから最貧困層支援のあり方の解明に資するものであり、本研究のもう一つの目的に沿ったものである。さらに次年度は、調査協力先などを広げて確実に実施する体制を整える予定である。すでに候補先があるため、最終的な調整と実施を進める予定である。今後は、これらの資料・データの分析から、研究発表や論文作成を進める。
