项目摘要

本研究は，既存の「企業の異質性」を仮定した国際貿易モデルに動学的要因を導入し，「金融市場の不完全」が存在するとき国際貿易の特性が如何なるものであるのかについて研究する。また，借入制約がどのような産業・企業に影響を及ぼし，その結果，海外進出企業数がどれだけ変化するか等の問題を考察することで，多様性や多層性が混在する国際市場のメカニズムについて理論的・定量的に分析することを目的としている。本研究に関するこれまでの流れとしては，テーマに関連する既存研究の流れを整理し，新たな理論構築に向けてどのような要因が重要であるかを提示することから研究を始めた。また，本研究課題の理論が，現実に対してどれだけの説明力を持っているかについても併せて検討した。また，産業間貿易に関わるモデルだけでなく海外直接投資に関わるモデルについても研究を進めた。今年度も，一昨年度および昨年度に引き続き，新型コロナウイルス感染症の問題と関連して，研究環境も大きく変化した1年であった。国内外の学会は中止，あるいはオンライン化され，研究機会が減少した環境下ではあったが，金融市場に関する研究Karasawa-Ohtashiro (2023)を刊行した。この論文では，銀行部門に関する産業組織論的アプローチの理論的な分析を展開した。特に，銀行業に関する不完全競争市場を対象にするMonti-Kleinモデルに資産の代替性を導入して分析を行い，これまで殆ど分析されてこなかった金融政策に関する流動性パズルが発生しうる可能性について理論的に検討を行った。以上は，本研究課題における既存研究の整理の過程で生まれた業績である。上記の通り，既存研究では不十分な要因をモデルに盛り込むことでこの分野の研究をさらに進展させたいと考えている。
