项目摘要

2020年2月期以来のcovid-19は世界的問題となり各国の経済、貿易に多大な影響を及ぼした。特に生産の混乱による供給寸断や港湾機能の低下などはわが国のグローバル・サプライチェーンに大きな混乱をもたらし、種々の課題を浮き彫りにした。この間2年以上の期間を経て、継続するcovid-19ショックの分析に資する経済データの蓄積などによりわが国経済のグローバル・サプライチェーン依存状況を説明するデータの利用が可能になっている。本研究の一つのテーマはショックの多国間・産業間の輻輳に着目し、需要端でもあり、またグローバル・サプライチェーンのノードでもあるわが国の輸入額変動のショック期間中の特徴を抽出することである。これはチェーンを伝わる衝撃の大きさを定量的に測るための一つの方法であり、振幅である実輸入額データに対して振動の位相情報を抽出しようとする試みである。二つ目のテーマは上記の貿易を背景とした経済変動が雇用に及ぼした影響の分析である。貿易データの利用については、ショックの前後での貿易まで含めたわが国の産業構造の変化を追えるようになった。すなわち、雇用などへの影響についてもある程度貿易の影響を覗える分析方法を検討できる時期になったので雇用への影響分析を行い特に有効求人倍率と、貿易を含むデータとの相関上に生じるヒステリシスがあることがわかった。短期的な景気後退において上昇時の経路を逆に辿るのか、別な経路を辿って後退するのかという傾向であるが、そこにグローバル・サプライチェーンの影響を定性的な分析も含めて考察した。現在も分析を継続中である。また、令和3年度までに全く実施できなかったアジア地域の調査を年度末にかけて実施することができた。調査では統計データの収集、ヒアリングなどを実施し数量的データ、質的データの蓄積を行った。
