令和４年度には、主に以下の研究活動を行った。【病院に従事する医師】医師届出票（主に従事している施設や業務の種別等について医師の調査を行うための調査票に相当する。）から作成したパネルデータを用いて、医師による病院離脱の傾向が高まっているのかを検証した。男女別かつ医籍登録年コーホート別に医籍登録時から一定期間継続して病院に従事する医師の比率を算出したところ、性別を問わず後年のコーホートほど継続して病院に従事する者の比率が高くなる傾向があることが明らかになった。同一のコーホートの医師では、継続して病院に従事する男性の比率が女性よりも有意に高く、男性よりも女性が早い段階で病院から離脱していることがわかった。但し、男女計の医師全体でみても継続して病院に従事する比率は上昇傾向にあり、女性医師の増加によって医師の病院離脱が早まるという現象は生じていないことを確認した。【医師届出票の届出率】医師届出票の届出率（提出率に相当）の経年変化を分析するためには、届出率算出に際しての分母となる残存医師数を調査年ごとに算出する必要がある。この算出のためには、医籍登録年ごとの医籍登録者数を男女別かつ生年別に把握する必要があるが、各年の医籍登録者数は公表されていない。このため、医籍登録年からの経過年数別にパネルデータを作成し、パネルデータの件数を医籍登録年コーホート別の医籍登録者数の推計値として利用できるのではないかという視点で検討を行った。調査年ごとの残存医師数は、毎年公表されている簡易生命表の死亡率を用いて医籍登録年から調査年までの死亡数を算出、ついで生存数を算出する方法について検討した。

The number of doctors remaining in the survey year, the number of deaths in the survey year, and the number of survivors in the survey year were calculated using the simplified life table.
