2022年度は研究3年目として、引き続き国境を超えた組織間関係のデザイン、および企業による社会的正当性の確保に注目し、①日本企業の本国親会社-海外子会社間関係が事業の成長やイノベーションに与える影響、②本国とホスト国間の文化的・制度的距離が多国籍企業とホスト国企業とのジョイントベンチャー・パートナーシップの形成に与える影響、そして③さまざまなレベルの制度環境が企業による社会的責任に関する意思決定に与える影響について、各分担者が具体的な事例やデータの分析、および成果としての論文執筆・投稿を行った。①については、日本企業の事例研究を通じて、従来の本国親会社による海外子会社のコントロールや統合を通じた海外事業展開ではなく、自律した海外子会社との間のコンフリクトや共進化といったプロセスが海外事業の成長や破壊的イノベーションの実現を促進する可能性について、分析した結果を論文に執筆し、海外ジャーナルに投稿・掲載された。②については、外国企業が日本に直接投資によって進出する際のジョイントベンチャー・パートナーの選択について、各社の本国とホスト国である日本との文化的距離や制度的距離がジョイントベンチャー・パートナーシップの形成に与える影響を分析した。成果としての論文はほぼ執筆が完了しており、学会誌への投稿を準備している。③については、日本企業による社会的責任に関する取り組みのうち人材の多様化、具体的には女性の活躍推進（管理職登用）に注目し、それに関連する施策や実際の人材多様化に対して、さまざまなレベル（国/産業/企業内）の制度環境からの圧力がどのような影響を与えるのかを、データを追加してデータベースを拡張した上で再度分析を実施した。その結果、より信頼性の高い分析結果を得ることができた。本分析については、2023年度中の学会誌投稿を予定している。
