令和４年度は昨年度に海外学術誌International Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailingに掲載が決定した論文の出版までの手続きを進めているところである。一方、研究協力者の武学穎博士（令和5年4月徳島大学着任予定）の日本政府の繊維産業に対する政策の変遷と将来の方向性が英語論文として取りまとめられSpringer社より出版される書籍に掲載された（Industrial Structure Change and Corporate Strategy: The Case of the Japanese Apparel Industry）。令和3年度までの研究は主にアパレル中小企業において電子商取引（E-Commerce）あるいはオンライン販売がパフォーマンスに影響するのかどうかについての統計的な手法による実証分析に取り組んできた。令和4年度はこの研究成果の次のステージとしてオムニチャネル戦略の先行研究のサーベイを進めているところである。既存の小売店がオンライン販売に取り組む場合、実店舗の販売に加えオンライン販売を追加するという「チャネルの追加」すなわちマルチチャネル戦略に取り組むことになるが、それでは在庫をそれぞれに持つ必要がありコスト高となる可能性がある。そこで、在庫情報に加え顧客情報を実店舗販売とオンライン販売について統合（オムニチャネル戦略）し、コスト削減と効果的なマーケティング戦略を諮ることが可能になると考えられている。今後はオムニチャネル戦略に関するインタビュー調査やアンケート調査を実施したいと考えており、そのためにも諸外国で実施されているオムニチャネル戦略に関する先行研究をサーベイすることが重要となる。
