2022年度は、2021年度に引き続き仮説設定のための理論構築から着手した。その過程で、消費者の特性を考慮したプライシングに関する考察を行い、論文にまとめた。ダイナミック・プライシングは売れ行きや客数等に応じて価格を柔軟に変動させるプライシングの手法であるため、価格変動に対する消費者の反応について考察する必要があるためである。また、このような消費者の反応および特性を考慮したプライシング研究は過去に数多く行われており、効果的なダイナミック・プライシングについて論考を深めるためにも、消費者の特性を考慮したプライシングについて考察する必要がある。このことから、効果的なダイナミック・プライシングについて仮説構築を行うことと並行して、消費者の特性を考慮したプライシングについて考察を行った。消費者の特性を考慮したプライシングについては、価格に対する消費者の認識、とりわけ参照価格と価格－品質スキーマの観点から考察を行い、内的参照価格に加え近年では外的参照価格の重要性が高まっていること、および価格－品質スキーマについては従来から認められているものの他の手がかりが存在する場合はスキーマが弱まることが明らかとなった。なお、ダイナミック・プライシングでは変動前の価格が外的参照価格として作用する可能性があるため、効果的なダイナミック・プライシングを考える際には外的参照価格の存在を考慮すべきであると思われる。次に、実際のプライシングについては、個人または単一セグメントを想定した場合と複数セグメントを想定した場合でそれぞれプライシングのパターンが異なることが明らかとなった。こうしたファインディングスを踏まえ、本研究課題である効果的なダイナミック・プライシングについて研究を進めた。
