令和四年度は、新型コロナウィルスによる影響がかなり落ち着いたため、昨年度から延期していたヒアリング調査やインタビュー調査などを含め、概念的枠組みとそれに基づく仮説構築の作業を進めてきた。具体的な内容としては、以下の2点である。一つは、多層的情報フローにおける消費者の情報提供実態の把握を目的としたプロトコール調査の実施とその成果の報告である。プロトコール調査とは、指定されたタスクの実施においてその動作中に自分が何をしているかや何を考えているかを口頭データとして収集する方法であり、今回は消費者がスマートフォンアプリを選択する際に行う情報提供にこれを適用した。現在のプライバシーに関する法体系は、消費者が購買行動において製品やサービスの購入に同意する際に同時に自分の個人情報の提供にも同意しているという前提を置き、それに基づいて消費者に情報フローの法的責任を持たせている。しかし、本調査の結果、まさにこうした前提が実際の情報提供を十分に反映していない点が確認された。また、消費者の情報提供シーンは購買行動だけでなく製品使用時にも生じるため、もう一つの調査としてウェアラブル製品の利用とプライバシー意識の関係をインタビュー形式で調査しその結果を報告した。今回は、身体機能の補助・補完というかなりプライバシー度の高い状況に着目し、AI人工物が提供する価値とその代償という枠組みを置いて、情報フローの発生に対する消費者側の心理を探った。これら2つの研究は、共に、個人の状況に合わせた高度なサービス提供（＝パーソナライズドサービス）に必要な情報フローの多層性を肯定的側面と否定的側面から同時に概念化するために多くの示唆をもたらしていると考えらえる。得られた知見の詳細は、これまでの本補助事業で得られた知見とともに、3本の論文、6回の学会発表、1本の叢書（編著）を通じて公表されている。
