项目摘要

コロナ禍が落ち着いて企業にヒアリングが実施できる環境が整ってきたので、リサーチ企業を訪問して経営者に海外事業の現況について詳しく伺うとともに、2020年から2022年の3年間の海外事業への設備投資データや国ごとの事業報告書、収支報告書も収集した。コロナ前（2019年）のデータと比較したところ、海外事業の経営環境が劇的に変化しているのが確認できた。具体的には、投資を開始してから10年未満の、赤字が続いていて投下資本の回収可能性が危険水域に達していた2か国の事業が収益の幅超過に転じていて、現地での拡大生産を賄うだけの設備投資費用を大幅に上回る収益を上げていた。また、現地事業の投資評価の尺度も、前回調査時は累積損失が投下資本を上回ってしまう時期が主要な指標として利用されていたが、今回の調査では通常の投資評価で利用される評価指標である売上高と営業利益、最終損益が使われていた。さらに、上記の2か国のうちの1か国では、その国で収益を上げるためではなく、日本国内の本社が自動車産業に参入するための足掛かりとしてライバル企業が参入する前に当該国への投資を実施していたため、進出当初は収益管理よりも現地での自動車産業からの受注データが投資の評価指標であったが、狙い通りに日本国内でも自動車産業への進出を果たすことができたあとは、通常の投資評価指標に変更したことも分かった。上記の分析と考察について、中小企業会計学会の統一論題で詳細に報告した。
