项目摘要

本研究は、2000年代以降人口が集中し階層変動が顕著な「大都市東京」を研究対象に、大都市東京を構成する大都市内部の地域社会内の階層格差の変化を解明すると同時に、階層格差が引き起こした地域コミュニティの変化と再編過程の解明を目的とする。この解明は量的・質的調査法を合わせた混合研究法を採用する。具体的には、東京都23区において階層変動という点で特徴のある区を選定し、さらに各区の変化を代表する地域コミュニティ（小地区）を対象に、量的・質的調査を行うものである。研究の3年目にあたる2022年度は、昨年度の研究成果ー①東京23区の1995年から2015年までの社会地図（町丁目別）の作成および分析、②その中から人口増、就業・職業構造の著しい変化のある町丁目を抱える荒川区・台東区・江東区を抽出し、この3区のうち荒川区を中心に地域コミュニテ（小地区）の選定作業を実施ーに基づき、その結果、再開発事業により階層変動が顕著に展開した荒川区南千住東地区を選定した。該当する南千住3丁目、4丁目、8丁目の行政関連組織（施設）ならびに住民団体を対象に、インタビュー調査および各種の地域イベント・会議への参加調査を実施した。その成果は、インタビュー調査を実施した組織・団体は、合計14団体・組織であり、対象者数は31名に及んだ。また、地域イベント・会議への参加は8回となった。この成果により、当該地域住民とのラポールが形成され、量的調査実施のための環境整備を確保することが出来た。
