日本の障害者政策の形成過程における家族の位置づけの変遷と入所型施設の建設推進との関係、近年の脱施設化政策における地域福祉重視の実態と家族によるインフォーマルケアへの依存について検討し、インフォーマルなケアラーとしての家族への政策的依存が、障害当事者とともに家族をも地域社会から孤立させることを明らかにした、また家族ケアラーの生活者としての権利擁護の必要性について、近年、日本でも注目されているケアの倫理に関する議論との関連から検討した。こうした知見を、「Exclusion from the family and the community:the challenges of deinstitutionalization in Japan」(The 10th Annual Conference of European Society for Disability Research、University Saint-Louis - Brussels（online報告）、2022/07/07)、「ケアの脱家族化は可能か?-障害者政策の中の家族-」(第95回日本社会学会大会、追手門学院大学、2022/11/12)として学会報告するとともに、当事者主権やアドボカシーに関して蓄積してきた知見を、「私が出会った２つの言葉～ "The personal is political" と"Nothing about us without us" ～」(金沢大学ダイバーシティ研究環境推進シンポジウム（はあざみ女性研究者賞受賞式、金沢大学、2022/12/23)として講演した。また2022年3月に参加した障害者政策に関する日仏共同セミナーに関する『ALTER』（European Society for Disability Research学会誌）特集号に向けた原稿執筆を行った。

The process of formation of Japan's victim policy includes the transformation of the family's position, the promotion of the construction of the in-house facilities, the relationship between the recent de-construction policies, the emphasis on regional well-being, the family's dependence on the family's policies, the relationship between the victim's family and the regional society's isolation, and the relationship between the victim's family and the regional society. In recent years, Japan has been paying attention to the discussion of the ethical relationship between the family and the people who live in the country.
