项目摘要

本研究の目的は、老いの価値を再検討し、大衆長寿化が進行する人生100年時代に対応した、高齢者になるための新たな「ライフモデル」を構築することにある。本研究の独自性は、学校教育においても初等中等学習指導要領において認知症理解を進める必要性が指摘されていることをふまえ、現在の高齢者のみならず、子ども期・青年期にある世代にとっても将来を見据えて有用なライフモデルを企図する点にある。すでに令和3年度に高校生の加齢意識・高齢者観・老い方についての意識調査をおこなった。具体的には2021年11月24～26日に全国の高校生モニター1,000人を対象とした大規模なWeb調査（委託先：調査会社ネオマーケティング）を実施し、分析を進めた。引き続き、令和4年度は、高校生調査のデータ分析を進めたが、さらに日本の高校生の特徴を見極め、考察を深める必要が認められたため、韓国の高校生にも同様の調査を行うことを追加で計画することにした。そこで韓国の老年社会学研究者で共同研究の実績がある金珠賢氏（忠南国立大学社会科学大学教授）に調査・研究協力を依頼した。令和4年度中に調査票の翻訳ならびに項目検討を行い、令和5年度に研究期間を延長し、具体的に調査を行えるよう、韓国のWeb調査会社と調整を行った。また、コロナ禍によって面会禁止など高齢者の処遇がどのように影響を受けたのかについても厚労省の見解や介護現場での実態を検証した。その結果、高齢者がコロナ感染リスクが高いことによって保護される一方で、面会禁止・接触禁止など過剰とも思われる処遇により、むしろ高齢者が社会的に隔離され、エイジズムにつながる状況が生み出される危険性があることを指摘した。
