项目摘要

本研究は、外国にルーツをもつ子どもに対して「発達障害」カテゴリが適用される過程を解明し、「発達障害」カテゴリが適用された子どもは、その後、どのような処遇を受けるのかについて明らかにするものである。2022年度は今後実施予定である調査票調査「外国籍および外国につながる児童生徒に対する教育支援に関する調査」の調査票を完成させ、調査対象へのコンタクトを開始した。ただし、調査対象者との打ち合わせまでは進んでおらず、2023年度の上半期には調査対象の確定および実施のための打ち合わせを実施し、2023年度中に調査を実施する予定である。また、特別支援学校における参与観察・インタビューについては、対象校との打ち合わせや調査に関する説明を完了した。それにより、2023年度は学校調査を実施できるところまで持ってくることができた。なお、COVID-19の影響により2022年度も本格的な調査を実施することができなかったが（通信制高校での単発的な視察は実施。）、今後社会状況の変化等が見込まれるため、2023年度は調査を実施できる見込みである。他方で、2022年度も継続的に月刊誌「高校教育」への連載執筆を行い、研究成果の公表に努めた。特に2021年度に視察を実施した特別支援学校の現状および、様々な理由によって学校への適応が低く、何らかの「つまずき」経験のある生徒が一定程度通っている通信制高校の現状に関する論考等の執筆を行い、研究成果の一部について公表することができた。
