本研究では、支援型リーダーシップを扱う科目の効果を検証し、大学院でのリーダーシップ教育の効果を明らかにすることを目的としている。令和2年度および3年度は、授業の開始時および終了時に質問紙調査を行い、効果検証のための尺度開発を行った（令和2年度は予備調査、令和3年度は項目改訂と本調査を実施）。質問紙調査から、リーダーシップのタイプとして「意見聴取型」「率先型」「支援型」「統率型」「マネジメント型」の5つの因子が抽出され、すべてのリーダーシップタイプにおいて授業前後でリーダーシップ行動が増加する傾向が見られた。令和３年度末には、リーダーシップ育成科目の履修者と非履修者に対し、修士課程修了直前にインタビュー調査およびアンケート調査を行った。現時点におけるアンケート調査の粗集計では、チームワークに関する項目、グローバルな問題に対する理解、文系教養科目への満足度など、いくつかの項目で履修者の回答がよい傾向にあった。これまでの各種調査の結果から、リーダーシップ育成科目に対する学生の満足度や成長実感には一貫した上昇傾向がみられる。一方で、科目に対する認知度の向上や授業内容の改善に伴い、科目を履修する学生層に変化が生じ、授業設計上の課題もいくつか抽出された。そこで、令和3年度および4年度には授業内容の変更を行い、現在は、その変更を踏まえた調査の検討を進めているところである。
