项目摘要

言語聴覚士はことばのリハビリを行う専門職である。本研究は、その養成校で、学生が最も苦手な「音響学」（聴覚心理学を含む）の授業の改善方法、そのための現状調査とカリキュラム、教材作成、教師間連携作りを目的としている。研究開始当初は、養成校の授業という狭い環境での教育実践の問題であったが、教室を出て、全国の言語聴覚士とつながることにより、実は卒業後の臨床の現状と深い関係があるということが分かってきた。本年度も新型コロナウィルスの影響はあったが、2020年度末に開始した「STのための音響学」というオンライン講習会も第20回まで終了し、次年度からも同様のペースで継続予定である。今まで参加していただいた現役言語聴覚士の総数も回を重ねるごとに増えており、この活動の広がりを実感できる。また、「オンライン講習会」は、コロナ以前の対面による講習会にはなかった形式であり、まさに逆境における副産物であった。対面によるコミュニケーションは何物にも代えがたいが、究極のつながりやすさを示すオンライン講習会は本研究の目的達成のための原動力となっているといえよう。昨年度同様、日本音響学会音響教育委員会、日本音声学会、東京都言語聴覚士会という関連学会、協会からの後援をいただき、参加者は日本全国、そして海外にも広がっている。国内と国際研究会の境界は、完全になくなった。さらに、この講習会開催をきっかけに、音響学・聴覚心理学の担当教師のつながりも徐々に広がっている。毎回の講習会で現役言語聴覚士の方々の要望や話を聞き、それを解決するような内容をみんなで考え、次の講習会を開催する。さらに、養成校の授業でも関連することを取り入れた教材を作成し、実際に使ってみる。そのような流れで少しずつ、今までは存在しなかった「臨床につながる音響学」を試行錯誤しながら作り上げる作業が確実に進んでいる。これが現状である。
