项目摘要

モンゴルのムルンではかつて多種多様で貴重な生態系を有していたが、温暖化などの自然要因に加えて、無計画な農地開拓や過放牧などの人為的要因によって生態系が大きく変わりつつある。とりわけ、過放牧による砂漠化は深刻な地球環境問題である。これらの状況を鑑みて、本研究ではムルンにおける砂漠化の実態を明らかにするとともに、植物成長促進効果が期待されるフルボ酸を利用したムルンに適した緑化手法の開発および緑化試験の実施とその評価、さらに緑化効果における飛砂や砂塵嵐の抑制効果の定量評価、を実施することを目的とする。令和2年度は植生調査および土壌分析の実施、気象観測および現地予備試験の実施を予定していた。しかしながら新型コロナウイルスの影響により、本研究の一時的な中断を余儀なくされた。そんな中、令和2年度は1)令和3年度のフィールド調査実施のための綿密な関係者協議に努めるとともに、2)モンゴルにおけるフィールド試験を想定した農業用ドローンの改良とフルボ酸の散布手法の検討を行った。また3)現地土壌を想定して、日本国内にてフルボ酸の最適散布計画策定のための緑化試験の準備を行った。その結果、令和3年6月から規模は大幅に縮小するものの緑化試験を実施し、土壌分析や生育調査を行う事が関係者協議で決まった。またモンゴルにおける植生の早期回復を目指して、フルボ酸を含浸させた粒剤の開発とその散布試験を令和3年に国内にて行う事となった。さらに令和3年2月より、恒温恒湿室内にて植生試験を開始しており、その実験データを基に現地での散布計画に反映させる予定である。
