项目摘要

・2022年度は本研究の第4年度であり、残り2年となった。過去2年間にわたり新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大のために海外渡航ができなかったため、2022年度は特に現地調査と研究報告を積極的に行った。・現地調査では、カンボジアのプノンペンで、政府関係者や研究者などへのインタビューや、経済特区における中国企業の投資状況のヒアリングなどを行い、これまでに行ったインターネットと電話によるサーベイ調査を補完した。・これまでの研究成果の概要を英語論文にまとめ、2023年3月にカナダのモントリオールで開催された、国際政治学分野の国際学会であるInternational Studies Association（ISA）の年次大会において研究報告を行い、海外の研究者からフィードバックを得ることができた。また、関連するテーマのセッションに参加し、将来のワークショップの講師や研究協力者として参加できそうな国外の研究者とのネットワーキングを行うことができた。・オンライン会議を活用して、研究代表者、研究分担者や研究協力者らでサーベイ調査結果の分析や今後のフォローアップ調査の検討などを行った。また、オンラインや対面でカンボジアの王立プノンペン大学の研究者とのワークショップや研究会を開催し、カンボジアにおける中国の進出状況のヒアリングや意見交換を行い、最新の状況の把握に努めた。・これまでに引き続き、日本国内で中国の対外政策や「一帯一路」の実態、東南アジアへの進出状況などの関連文献や統計データの収集を行い、研究成果の発表のための準備をした。
