The information scrambling as measured by the squared commutator is shown to be directly proportional the the post-quench work fluctuations for interacting particles in a harmonic oscillator. This is analytically shown for 2 particles, numerically confirmed for up til 5 particles and analytic arguments imply that it must be true for N particles as well.Quantum speeds of reduced states are shown to be closely related to the correlation properties for 2+2 interacting quantum gases. For some quenches between different correlation regimes the system initially sees a dynamical rearrangement of the correlations, followed by relatively constant correlation properties accompanied by periodic oscillating behavior of one-body operators.
