项目摘要

令和3年度（2021年4月―2022年3月）の研究実施状況は以下（1―3）の通りである。1. 博士論文の後半部分（米国の湾岸地域に対する政策，1977―1979年）の内容に関連した史料を収集し、収集した分については概ね全てに目を通した。具体的には、（1）Office of Historian, The Foreign Relations of the United States、（2）Digital National Security Archive, Iran, The Making of U.S. Policy, 1977-1980、（3）Digital National Security Archive, Iraqgate: Saddam Hussein, U.S. Policy and the Prelude to the Persian Gulf War, 1980-1994、(4)Digital National Security Archive, U.S. Policy toward Iran: From the Revolution to the Nuclear Accord, 1978-2015、（5）The National Archives and Record Administration, Access to Archival Databasesなどを検討した。2. これまで行ってきた分析の結果を博士論文（「オフショア・バランシング再考―米国と湾岸地域，1969-1981―」）としてまとめ、2022年1月に所属する大学院へ提出した。3. 本プロジェクト／博士論文の構想から派生した研究内容について、英語論文としてまとめ、海外ジャーナルに投稿した。同英語論文については既に受理・掲載されている。

This プロジェクト / doctoral dissertation の vision から derived した research content について, English thesis としてまとめ, overseas ジャーナル contribute にした.
