项目摘要

頂点捕食者である猛禽類は，捕食を介したトップダウン効果によって生態系の安定性を向上させることができる．さらに，彼らは広大な行動圏と高い生息地の要求性を持つため，その生息地を保全することで他種の保護にもつながる可能性がある．これらのことから，猛禽類個体群の保護とその生息地の保全は生物多様性保全に重要である．本研究課題の目的は，森林性猛禽類の保護とその生息地保全に必要な情報（繁殖分布とその動態，繁殖成功度，可能ならば死亡率）を整理し，これらに影響する要因を特定することである．本課題の申請時には，最終年度（2021年度）には前年度までに得られたデータの解析や論文執筆に充てる予定であったが，新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大に伴い，2020年度に実施することができなかった現地調査を2021年度に実施した．2020年度分のデータを収集できなかったことは大きな打撃であったものの，結果的には2021年度の現地調査によって目的のデータを収集することができたため，これらを使用して最終解析を行った．具体的には，対象猛禽類の繁殖（繁殖分布とその動態，繁殖成功度）や死亡率と環境要因の関係を，統計モデルにより解析した（2020年度までの仮解析結果に2021年度得られたデータを追加したものである）．その結果，いずれの種においても繁殖や死亡率と何らかの環境要因間に統計的に有意な関係が認められた．現在，これらの結果について論文を執筆している．全体として，研究実施期間の3年間で，猛禽類を対象とした学術論文（本申請課題と密接に関係する内容のもの）を合計8編（筆頭著者/責任著者7編，共著者1編）出版することができ，前述の通り未発表の結果についても執筆を進めている．したがって，新型コロナウイルスという不測の事態があったものの，本課題の目標はおおむね達成できたと考えている．

The application of this project is in progress, and the final year (2021) is the year in which the analysis paper was written, and the new type of analysis paper is written. The field investigation is carried out in 2020. The annual analysis paper is published in 2021. The results of the field survey in 2021 were collected and used for final analysis. Specifically, the relationship between reproduction (reproduction distribution, dynamics, reproductive success), mortality and environmental factors of raptors is analyzed statistically (the analysis results of 2020 are added to the results of 2021). The results of the study show that there are significant differences between the species, reproduction, mortality and environmental factors. Now, the result of this paper is written. During the three years of research, the academic papers on raptors (the content of this application subject and the relationship between them) were published in 8 parts (7 parts by the author/responsible author, 1 part by the author), and the results of the above communication were not reported. The purpose of this project is to achieve the goal of a new type of computer.
