本課題は、COVID-19感染症拡大による行動制限を受け、当初の計画を変更・修正しつつ期間を延長して実施・継続している。１）2度英国で実地調査を行った。夏期にケンブリッジ在住の海外研究協力者のポール・エドワーズを訪問し、最終年度の特別講演について相談をした。冬期に、2つのヴォーティシズムの展覧会（Helen Saunders: Modernist Rebel、A Modern Masterpiece Uncovered: Wyndham Lewis, Helen Saunders and Praxitella）をコートールド・ギャラリーで見学した。２）英国でウィンダム・ルイス記念財団が主催しているルイス遠隔読書会（英語）に毎月土曜日現地時間11:00から13:00（日本時間20:00から22:00、現地サマータイムのあいだは19:00から21:00）、研究分担者と海外研究協力者とともに参加した：4/23 The Collected Poems & Plays、5/21 Self Condemned、6/18 Fables of Aggression、7/23 Lewis's portraits of women、9/24 The Lion andthe Fox、10/22 Timon of Athens series of Lewis’s drawings、11/19 The Demon of Progress in the Arts、12/10 The women connected to Vorticism、1/21 The Caliph’s Design、2/25 The Art of Being Ruled、3/25 Lewis’s America and Cosmic Man.その一方で、国内研究協力者の田中正之（国立西洋美術館館長）との研究報告会を３ヶ月に１度のペースで開催した。３）２のルイス遠隔読書会と同日の午後、研究代表者と研究分担者で、それまでの進捗状況とそれ以降の研究方針について毎月定例のミーティングを行なった。４）代表者は、跡見学園女子大学文学部紀要において研究論文「幻の都市計画：ヴォーティシズムに見るデザインのイデオロギーの展開」を発表した（2023年3月）。
