项目摘要

令和４年度はこれまで収集した資料、つまり蝦夷地松前藩を含む北方警備にあたった東北以北の各藩に残された、申請者（泊）が「北方辺塞詩」と認定したものの整理と訳注を中心として研究作業にあたった。公表された研究実績としては、「リンガフランカ（国際共通語）としての漢詩」（日本語言文化研究、第7号、2022年11月、pp13-15）がある。同論文は昨年度発表した『蝦夷漢詩前史　元禄期松前阿吽寺僧釈智潤と朝鮮漂流官人李志恒の詩的交流』の延長上にある論文である。蝦夷地へやってきた朝鮮漂流官人李志恒と、彼ら一行が留め置かれた松前で現地僧である釈智潤との間で交わされた唱酬詩を中心に、漢詩という共通の教養が「教養」といった意味に留まらず、それが東アジア知識人の間では、リンガフランカ（国際共通語）として国際交流を促進する機能を持っていた点を解説した。この漢詩漢文のリンガフランカとしての機能は、王朝時代には鴻臚館における菅原道真と渤海使との詩文の唱酬、また時代が下って江戸時代知識人と朝鮮通信使との間での詩文の唱酬と、公式外交の場のコミュニケーションツールとして大きな役割を果たしてきた。李志恒と釈智潤はそれとは異なり、無名の異国の知識人同士の、また蝦夷という辺境で、しかも私的な交流の場でなされたものであった。この点において注目すべき価値があると考える。もうひとつ公表された成果としては、令和４年１０月２日函館市中央図書館の主催で同図書館において開催された講演「令和４年　第三回地域の歴史講座　漢詩から見える江戸末期の道南」がある。これは一般市民対象に、道南地域の歴史ついて多岐にわたる視点から解説を行うもので、申請者はこれまで発掘して解読した北方辺塞詩関連の詩の中から、郷土である道南地域に関連した詩を十首程度選び、その内容と地域との関わり、歴史的背景について解説した。研究成果の社会還元の一環である。
