项目摘要

本研究では，最小対（ミニマルペア）に特徴付けられるような音韻的対立・語彙的な区別に注目し，これらが対象となる言語要素の実現の仕方や分布の仕方にどのような影響を与えるのか，そこにはどのようなパターンがあるのかということを明らかにすべく，計画を実施している。先行研究，及び申請者のこれまでの研究成果を踏まえ，本研究では大規模コーパスの実際の発話データを使って大量の発話データを調べることで，日本語における1. 母音・子音の長さの対立，2. アクセントの対立，3. 有声・無声の対立に注目し，対立を担う（最小対を持つ）場合とそうでない場合で実際の発話での実現形・分布に違いがあるかを調べている。本年度（令和3年度）は，「子音の長さの対立」，「有声・無声の対立」，及びこれらの関係について調査・分析を更に進めた。具体的には，両対立は独立であり，前者は閉鎖持続時間の長短に影響を与えるが，後者は無関係であることが確認された。またその他の可能な要因を含めモデル化を行った。これらの結果を論文にまとめ、国際学術雑誌に投稿した。その他，母音の長さの対立を調査するためのデータを取りまとめ、分析に取りかかった。
