本研究は、国際バカロレアプログラムにて主に英語で教科を学ぶ一方、学外では主に日本語を使用する継続バイリンガル生徒を対象とし、各言語のナラティヴコーパスを構築した上で談話能力（①トピック維持、②出来事の連結、③ナラティヴ構造）の発達についてマクロ・ミクロ両視点から横断研究・縦断研究を行うことを目的とする。令和２年度以降のコロナ感染症拡大の影響を受け、データ収集方法の改訂を進める一方、①トピック維持について、前課題（課題番号：16K02701）にて収集したデータを使用して各言語における指示語選択の発展的分析を進めた。言語間相互作用が生じる談話コンテクストを絞り込むべく量的・質的分析を行い、（１）影響を引き起こす条件が揃う日英バイリンガルの指示語選択において、多様で複雑な要因が関わる「再導入」環境において特に影響が大きいことを示した研究を2021年度の学会発表に基づき論文として書き上げ、学術誌に投稿中である。また,（２）日本語ナラティヴのバイリンガル・モノリンガル比較を行い、モノリンガルの指示語選択は前出との距離や競合する指示対象の有無、意味的関連性などの影響を受けた指示語選択（状況に依存した省略の使用）を行うのに対し、バイリンガルは状況に関わらず明示的指示語を好むことを示し、バイリンガルとモノリンガルの指示語選択の質的な相違についての解明を行った研究についても、2021年度の学会発表を発展させ論文を執筆し、近々学術誌に投稿の予定である。更には、２年の間隔をあけた縦断データを用いて指示語選択の発達研究に着手した。バイリンガルにおける明示的指示語を好む指示語選択の傾向は児童期から青年期に移る時期においてほぼ変化はないことが判明し、インプット・経験に関わらず観察されるバイリンガル独自の言語使用であることが示唆される。この研究内容については2023年度の国際学会にて発表予定である。

The study was conducted at a 2-year interval. The tendency of the choice of indicators is to change from childhood to adolescence, from youth to adolescence, from childhood to adolescence. The research content is scheduled for the 2023 International Society.
