本年度も「亡命ロシア人とアーカイブズ」というテーマの解明に寄与しようとし、コロンビア大学バフメーチェフ文書館（Bakhmeteff Archive of Russian and East European Culture, 以下はBACU）、スタンフォード大学フーバー研究所文書館（Hoover Institution Archives, HIA）およびモスクワのロシア連邦国立文書館（State Archives of the Russian Federation, 以下はGARF）に所蔵される記録群を分析し、それらのコレクションの特徴と関係性に着目した。特に、それらをまたぐ記録群のひとつとしてロシア駐日陸軍武官アーカイブを取り上げ、その生成と分割の過程や内的構造の徹底的な分析を行った。この研究成果は、本年度中、Slavic & East European Information Resourcesという米国の学術雑誌に論文として掲載された。それと同時に、1920～1930年代という戦間期にプラハで存在したロシア在外歴史文書館（Russian Historical Archive Abroad, RZIA）の歴史に関する一次資料の収集・分析を継続的に行い、「収集アーカイブズ」としてのRZIAの目覚ましい活動ぶりを検討した。とりわけ、特定のコレクションの受入・整理・記述に関わる諸作業を再確認・検討することを通して、RZIAの歴史記録管理体制を分析できる枠組みを構築しようとした。アーカイブズのやむを得ない「移動」の現象に着目しながら、RZIAの現地代表者たちが行っていた収集活動の有様とその背景にあった「在外ロシア社会」が置かれた環境を検討した。この研究は、文書館のあるべき姿や歴史記録＝記憶＝ナショナル・アイデンティティの関連性を考えるために新たな視座を与えられると考えている。
