2022度の研究計画として、最終年度にふさわしく、これまでの研究をまとめ、国際的学術誌に投稿することを掲げたが、コロナ感染症の影響等によりヨーロッパでの史料調査・収集を中止し、国際的学術雑誌への投稿を実施できなかった。（そのため、科学研究費助成事業の補助事業期間の延長を申請し、承認された。）2022年度の研究実績としては、以下の2点が挙げられる。一点目として、中世ヨーロッパを代表する説教師の一人、フランチェスコ会のロベルト・ダ・レッチェに関する論文を執筆・提出した（英語）。本論文は2023年度にBrill社（オランダ）から出版予定のロベルト・ダ・レッチェに関する論文集に収録予定である。内容としては、写本から印刷本への移行という単線的な流れではなく、中世末期における写本と印刷本の複雑な絡まりに焦点をあて、修道会の垣根を超えた説教師の活動実態を論じた。本論文の意義は、①ロベルトの説教写本の新たな発見と、②ヨーロッパにおけるロベルト説教の写本/印刷を通した広範な受容のあり様を、ロベルト説教を参照した聖職者たちの視点から読み解いた点にある。第2点目として、日本国内の一般読者も対象として出版された『イタリア史のフロンティア』（イタリア史研究会編・共著）において、中世イタリアの托鉢修道会説教に関する章を担当し、説教の準備段階から遍歴の旅、そして聴衆を前にした説教へと至る一連の流れを、複数の説教師の事例について、史料に即して浮かび上がらせた（「中世末期イタリアの遍歴説教師－杖と書物とそら豆と」）。
