2022年度は期待ほど研究が進捗したとはいいがたいが、いくつかの研究が最終的に公刊された。まず昨年度すでに受理について報告しているが、2017年衆院選での選挙結果予測を行った論文、"Aggregating qualitative district-level campaign assessments to forecast election results: Evidence from Japan"がInternational Journal of Forecasting誌で2022年度中にオンラインで公刊された。また本手法を2021年衆院選の予測に対して用いた研究の成果を2022年度選挙学会においてポスター報告を行った。さらにこの研究報告をきっかけとして、2022年参院選に際してJX通信社が行った「2022年参院選当選確率シミュレータ」の監修を担当し、研究成果の社会実装を行うこととなった。このシミュレータはかなり高い精度で予測を的中させたものと自負している。またこちらも2021年度に報告しているが、候補者が地元の選好に合わせた政策位置を選択するDyadic Representationを、日本の衆議院議員候補とその出馬した選挙区からも示し、さらに地元の利益に沿った政策を選択した候補がより多くの得票を得る傾向をも明らかにした論文"Dyadic Representation in Parliamentary Democracy in Japan"がJapanese Journal of Political Science誌から公刊された。さらに本研究課題の研究を生かし、先日の2023年度選挙学会総会・研究会の共通論題において「衆議院選挙制度改革後の参院選」として、2022年参院選を中長期的な視点、特に野党分立と改選数分布の変化から論じた報告を行った。

In 2022, we are looking forward to the publication of the final report on research. "Aggregating qualitative district-level campaign assessments to forecast election results: Evidence from Japan," International Journal of Forecasting, 2022. The results of this study were published in the 2021 House of Representatives election forecast and the 2022 election report. JX News Agency conducted the "2022 Senate Election Confirmation Rate" and supervised the revision of the research report, and conducted the social implementation of the research results. This is the first time I've ever seen a person who's been in a position to predict something with high accuracy. The 2021 Annual Report of Japan's House of Representatives was prepared by the National Assembly of Japan. The paper "Dyadic Representation in Parliamentary Democracy in Japan" was published in the Japanese Journal of Political Science. This research topic is based on the common topics of the 2023 Election Society Conference and Research Conference, and the report on the long-term perspective of the Senate election after the reform of the House election system in 2022 and the distribution of the number of re-election of special political parties.
