项目摘要

開発途上国において、近代化の進展に伴い公共財供給や資源配分等社会の非持続性問題は最重要課題の一つとなっている。その解決には各個人の自発的協力が重要視されている。自発的協力は各個人の社会選好(social preference)と関係しており、社会選好は地域の社会文化的背景に依存している。近代化とともに社会文化的背景も変化しているが、その伝承経路は①世代間の垂直伝承と②世代内の平行伝承に大別される。本研究では、社会文化の垂直・水平伝承を明示的に組み入れた経済理論を基に、開発途上国での近代化が個人の社会選好及び自発的協力行動に与える影響について、フィールドワーク（実験やサーベイ等）を通じて理論的・実証的に分析する。令和４年度は、前年度までに取り組んだ①近代化、②社会文化の伝承、③協力の動機を形成する社会選好に関する体系化・分類化を基に、理論的背景の考察を進めた。それと同時に、近代化に伴う世代間の垂直伝承と世代内の平行伝承が個人の社会選好及び自発的協力行動に与える影響について分析するため、複数の開発途上国でフィールド調査・実験を実施する予定であった。しかしながら、研究対象であった開発途上国では、世界的なコロナ渦やそれに付随する影響を受けた行政機関の混乱のため、予定していたフィールド調査・実験の一部分は実施延期を余儀なくされ、令和５年度に持ち越しとなった。そのような中、カンボジア、スリランカ及びフィリピンといった開発途上国でフィールド調査・実験（パイロット（事前）調査含む）を一部実施し、そのデータを基にした統計分析を行うことができた。現在、カンボジア、ネパール及びアフガニスタンに関する論文三本の執筆の最終段階にある。

In the process of development, the progress of modernization is accompanied by the non-sustainable problems of society such as the supply of public goods and the allocation of resources. It is important to solve the problem of self-reliance of each individual. Self-generated cooperation depends on the social preference of each individual, and the social preference depends on the social and cultural background of the region. The social and cultural background of modernization has changed from generation to generation. This study is an analysis of the theoretical and empirical aspects of the development of China's modernization, individual social selection and self-reliance, and the impact of the vertical and horizontal transmission of social culture. In the 4th year of Linghe, we will take steps in the previous year to establish the basis for systematization and classification, and the theoretical background for the formation of modernization, the inheritance of social culture, and the motivation for cooperation. Simultaneous, modern, intergenerational, parallel, intragenerational, individual, social, and autonomous collaborative action, impact analysis, and multiple development processes. The study was conducted on the basis of a study conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. A survey was conducted on the basis of statistical analysis. The final stage of writing three papers is now under discussion.
