2022年度は、主として、次の2点の研究活動を行った。（１）本研究の中で収集してきたイスラーム金融に係るデジタル・トランスフォーメーション（DX化）の動向とその課題について、学術書（Digital Transformation in Islamic Finance: A Critical and Analytical View）を編纂し、自らも２つのブックチャプターをRoutledge社より出版した。ここでは、主として、DX化がもたらす競争の激化、特に、非イスラーム銀行との競争が激化することに伴うイスラーム銀行経営が抱える諸課題について分析を行っている。また、イスラーム銀行が貿易金融業務に比較優位を有していることを分析し、貿易金融・送金業務へ経営資源を集中させることの戦略性を提案している。その一方で、非イスラーム銀行も貿易金融・送金業務からの収益機会を拡大していることから、競争はより厳しくなってきており、貿易金融・送金業務に主軸を置くイスラーム銀行の育成のために政府あるいはイスラーム社会が一定の経済的支援を行うことの必要性について提議している。（２）本研究を通じて研究を進めてきたイスラーム銀行のガバナンス構造およびシャリーア法令順守制度の知見をもとに、貸し手としてのイスラーム銀行の権利保護に焦点を充て、日本のメインバンク制度における貸し手としての邦銀の役割との比較を行い、イスラーム銀行の抱えるリスク分析および課題を抽出した。この論文は、イスラーム金融分野では有数のScopus収録ジャーナルでもある、International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Managementに投稿し、査読を受け、アクセプトされた。

In 2022, two research activities were carried out. (1) This research is a collection of topics related to the development of financial systems, and an academic book, Digital Transformation in Islamic Finance: A Critical and Analytical View, has been compiled and published since then. The competition between banks and enterprises is intensified, and the competition between banks and enterprises is intensified. For example, the Bank of China's trade finance business has a comparative advantage in the analysis, trade finance and gold transfer business, and the concentration of resources has a strategic proposal. On the one hand, non-governmental banks have increased the opportunities for income from trade finance and gold transfer business, and on the other hand, competition has increased. On the other hand, the main axis of trade finance and gold transfer business has been set. On the other hand, the government has proposed the necessity of supporting certain social organizations. (2) This study is intended to further the research on the structure of banks and the legal compliance system. The focus of this study is on the profit protection of banks. The comparison between Japan's banking system and Japan's banking system is conducted. This paper is published in the International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management.
