本年度においても標準化に関する調査を継続しておこなった。コロナ感染症対策のための行動制限により調査対象者への資料配布等が困難になった点、研究計画時と比較して調査コストが上昇している点等への対応のために、調査実施方法に改善を加えた。直轄での調査実施をおこない、調査対象者への調査資料配布や回答回収の一部について電子化を行った。これによりリモートワークを行っている調査対象者が回答を行いやすくなった。また、調査対象者との間で直接連絡をとることができ、提出方法等の質問へ効率的な回答対応を行うことができた。結果として、行動制限下での調査実施であったが回収率等で十分な成果を得ることができた。収集データについてコーディング等を研究実施者が自身で行い、取りまとめのうえ英文での公表をおこなった[1]。加えて、研究成果の国際的な発信のために、国際標準化機構（ISO）の研究レポジトリーへ、本年度及び過年度の調査結果の登録と公表をおこなった。[1] Results of the Survey on Standardization Activity (2019): Situation of Standardization Activities in Business Entities and Other Institutions.
