本研究は、グローバル制御社会におけるメディア・技術・資本主義の新たな連関を学際的視点から解明するための社会理論の基盤構築を目指すものである。かかる目的を達成するために、４年目にあたる2022年度には、単著論文を3本刊行するとともに、学会・国際シンポジウム・公開研究会にて計三つの報告を行った。具体的には、GAFAMを中心とするメディア社会やプラットフォーム資本主義の動向と新たな人びとの集まり（アセンブリ）の可能性について分析した「アセンブリとプラットフォーム：来るべき集まりのために」、同じくプラットフォーム資本主義が内包している新たな封建主義へと向かう傾向について論じた「来るべき抵抗形態の始まり：プラットフォーム資本主義／ネオ封建主義の先へ」、そしてロシアのウクライナ侵略戦争の勃発後の世界情勢の変化を踏まえつつ、ネグリ＝ハートの〈帝国〉論を再検討した「変移するグローバル混合政体の現在：ネグリ＝ハートの〈帝国〉から考える」を刊行した。加えて、日本メディア学会大会のワークショップ「21世紀の政治・メディア・デモクラシー：ネグリ／ハートの『アセンブリ―新たな民主主義の編成』（岩波書店、2022 年）を中心に」に招かれ、「アセンブリ以後 ：〈帝国〉内の戦争・パンデミック・プラットフォームを中心に」という題の報告を行った。さらに、『アセンブリ』刊行を記念して開かれたフーコー研究フォーラム主催のオンライン公開研究会 にて訳者の一人として報告・応答を行うとともに、研究分担者として参加していた科学研究費基盤研究B「ポストメディア文化研究の理論構築：創造産業の日英比較を中心に」（研究代表者：毛利嘉孝、課題番号：17H02587）の研究活動の一環として組織・運営された国際シンポジウム、ポストメディア東京会議2023のパネル「（ポスト）メディア研究の現在と未来」にて最終報告を行った。
