前年度に引き続き、研究協力者として知的障害当事者1名の協力を得て、知的障害当事者の親亡き後において必要となる支援要素の解明を当事者参加型によるインタビュー調査の実施により図ることとした。その結果、京都、埼玉、山形、神奈川において調査を実施（山形についてはオンラインでの実施、それ以外は対面での実施）することができ、親亡き後の問題にこれから直面する、あるいはすでに直面している知的障害者当事者20名（両親ともに存命14名、片親が存命4名、両親とも死去2名）から親亡き後において必要となる支援要素に関するインタビューデータを得ることができた。なお、調査の実施に際しては前年度同様理的配慮に関する説明を説明書を用いて行い、調査協力への同意が得られるようであれば同意書を取り交わした上で調査を実施した。また、調査への協力は随時撤回できる旨について説明した上で同意撤回書を渡して調査を実施した。なお、所要時間は1人につき60分程とした。その他、調査内容及び倫理的配慮の説明に際して用いる説明書及び調査協力に関して取り交わす同意書並びに調査の同意撤回に際して必要となる同意撤回書については調査対象者である知的障害当事者の障害特性を考慮して平易な表現を用い、あわせて漢字にはふりがなを振ることとした。令和4年度は対面を中心に一昨年度の倍以上の知的障害当事者に対してインタビュー調査を調査を実施することができた。
