2022年度の研究成果は以下の4点からなる。第一に、居留地時代の長崎に関する調査研究である。旧グラバー住宅の室名再考、東山手洋風住宅群調査、長崎国際交流史研究第一人者のブライアン・バークガフニ博士の公開講演会を実施した。第二に、長崎活水学院校舎設計の建築家ジョシュア・ヴォーゲル（1889-1970）とヘレン・ホリスター（1887-1947）の展覧会開催である。両建築家の研究は、16K06698でオハイオ州立大学図書館所蔵資料調査を行った。これに続くものである。ヴォーゲルはヴォーリズ事務所着任直後の1913年にソウルに派遣され、ソウルYMCAと梨花大学シンプソン記念館の現場の基礎工事を監理した。これをはじめ、1912～1965年のコロンバス、近江八幡、ソウル、東京、シアトル、上海、長崎で手掛けた建築を初めて公に明らかにした。第三に、1941年に清州神社（忠清北道）を手掛けた文化財修理設計技術者・井上梅三（1864-1963）の追加資料の発見である。松江市が講演会を動画で公開したところ、御孫子がご覧になり、1955年以降の資料の残ることが明らかになった。お会いして聞取りを行い、梅三の経歴がさらに明らかになった。第四に、大正から戦前にかけ、李王垠をはじめ、皇族・華族の高松来訪時の迎賓施設として利用された高松松平別邸・披雲閣（重要文化財、1917・大正6年）における、2021年度の成果公開（清水組の見積書と城内整備、三大行幸啓の建物の使い方）である。第五に、韓国研究者との交流で、11月に韓国国史編纂委員会の張龍經編史研究官、崔銀珍編史研究士らの壱岐・熊本利平関連資料調査、12月に元漢陽大学冨井正憲博士の鎌倉大仏（高徳院）観月堂（元・景福宮建物）調査、３月に冨井博士、現代芸術家鎌田友介氏（海外日式住宅研究者）、ソウルguga都市建築研究所米田沙知子氏の旧五輪教会堂調査に同行した。
