本研究の目的は，終末期がん患者の望む生き方を支えるための看護師の対話力の獲得過程および対話力の獲得に影響する要因を明らかにすることである．今年度は，訪問看護師のがん患者を含めた終末期におけるコミュニケーションの文献の検討と訪問看護師を対象としたインタビュー調査を実施した．インタビュー調査はCOVID-19の感染予防のために，対面での面接調査からzoomを用いたオンラインによる面接調査に方法を変更して実施した．2つの訪問看護ステーションの看護師7名を対象として，終末期の療養者とのコミュニケーションの経験，その中で感じた困難とその対応などについてインタビュー調査を実施し，逐語録を作成し，分析データとした．現在そのデータを質的に分析中である．予定していた病棟看護師への面接調査は実施できなかったため，来年度に延期することとした．また，一昨年度に実施した，訪問看護師が終末期がん患者および家族に行っているコミュニケーション支援に関する質問紙調査のデータの分析と論文執筆を進めており，投稿を予定している．他，第37回がん看護学会にオンライン参加し，情報収集を行った．今年度は，終末期がん患者の望む生き方を支えるための看護師の対話力の獲得過程モデル作成に向けて，十分なデータを得られるよう，病棟看護師，訪問看護師を対象とした面接調査を追加で実施してデータを集め，これまでに得られたデータと併せて質的に分析を進めていく予定である．
