本研究では、保護者とかかりつけ医の対話を支えるために、子どもの急病時の身体的アセスメントに必要な症状の記録、子どもによく見られる症状のホームケアの基礎知識を兼備えた携帯電話用アプリケーションを開発することである。2022年度は、6歳以下の子どもの保護者のべ9名に、インタビュー調査を実施した。インタビューでは、子どもが急病してかかりつけ医を受診した際の経験を中心に語っていただいた。インタビュー調査の逐語禄から、子どもが受診した時の症状、急病した時の不安や思い、かかりつけ医との対話を促す要因、阻害する要因などを検討した。調査結果を踏まえて、専門書や文献の知識を統合し、携帯電話用アプリケーション「子ども視る手帳」を開発した。「子ども視る手帳」アプリは、①子どもが急病したときの体調の記録、②子どもの急病時のホームケアを搭載している。①子どもが急病したときの体調の記録は、子どもが受診してかかりつけ医や看護師に子どもの病状を説明をする際に、アプリの画面を見せて子どもの体調を伝えるのに役立ててもらうことを意図して作成した。また、②子どもの急病時のホームケアは、発熱、下痢、嘔吐、咳について、家庭での対応に役立ててもらうために作成した。より質の高いアプリを開発するために、観察項目の原案について、小児看護学研究、小児救急看護認定看護師から、助言を頂き反映させた。アプリは、開発会社の協力のもと開発を進め、2023年3月にアップルストアより、一般公開された。
