项目摘要

チリ中部は、輸出農林畜産品とその加工業の中心地である。日本にも多く輸出されているワインや製紙パルプ産業は、この地域に原材料の産地や加工工場が集中する。ただし、沿岸部では、海岸山脈のために内陸部との交流が少なく住民は少数民族が主体で、主に国内市場向けの海産物によって生計を立てている人々が多いという特徴を有する。内陸部の農林産品が新興国向け輸出で活況を呈する中で、沿岸漁業は海洋汚染、沖合の外国大型船による小型魚の乱獲により、資源量の低下が問題となっている。2010年のチリ中南部地震では、一次産品産業が大きな被害を受けた。それから十数年が経過し、これら産業はどのような復興を遂げてきたのかについて検証した。経済社会調査、および農林牧業センサスを分析することで、震災後に経営の法人化・大規模化が他地域に比べてより急速に進んだことを実証的に示した。
