项目摘要

１．公文書館等における公害関係資料の所蔵状況調査（継続）：都道府県や市町村の公文書館等を対象に、データベースに登録されている公害関係資料のデータ収集作業をおこなった。令和4年度はこれまで収集してきた都道府県立公文書館等所蔵の歴史的公文書のデータ確認・分析とともに、市町村立公文書館等所蔵の資料データの収集作業を進めた。２．公文書館等に対するアンケート調査の実施：令和3年度中に実施した公文書館等に対する古文書・私文書の所蔵状況調査アンケートの入力作業と分析を行った。その結果、①古文書・私文書のなかに含まれる公文書（ないし公文書的な性格を有する資料）の存在、②戦前期の公害関係資料の存在、③行政刊行物が有する価値の高さ、の3点について考察を加えることができ、公文書と古文書・私文書、さらには行政刊行物という、それぞれの形態の資料が有するアーカイブズとしての意義について明らかにした。３．公害ならびに公害関係資料に関する研究：歴史学やアーカイブズ学の知見にもとづき、公害や公害関係資料に関する研究を進めた。そのなかで上記2の調査をふまえた論文（清水善仁「公害経験の継承と公害資料：アーカイブズとしての公害資料館」［清水万由子・林美帆・除本理史編著『公害の経験を未来につなぐ』ナカニシヤ出版、2023年3月刊行］）を執筆した。あわせて、本研究にかかわるコラム「〈現在進行形〉としての公害を考える」が中央大学の研究等を発信する「ChuoOnline」に掲載された（https://yab.yomiuri.co.jp/adv/chuo/research/20230126.php）。
