项目摘要

令和４年度は２度にわたり神宮文庫での資料調査を実施した。第１回は令和４年11月24日より2泊3日で実施。豊宮崎文庫蔵本の内、とくに『勢州宮崎文庫書目』に「秘書」として記録されている『続日本紀』（5門733号。15冊）『続日本後紀』（5門743号。20冊）の奥書を確認した。なかでも『続日本紀』は水野石見守所蔵本を書写していた事が記録されており、文庫衆による書写活動の一端を窺わせている。また神宮文庫所蔵の豊宮崎文庫蔵書目録（11号167号、168号、169号、215号、216号、1335号、1347号、1932号、3276号、3883号）を一通り確認し、これまでの調査で確認している目録と比較した。その他、先に見た水野石見守忠貞奉の奉納本や、外宮御師にして書肆でもあった藤原重兵衛の奉納本を一部確認した。第2回の調査は令和5年3月16日から2泊3日で実施した。第1回調査に引き続き豊宮崎文庫における「秘書」ならびに連署人（複数人の文庫衆）による写本の調査を行なった。確認したのは『釈日本紀』（5門652号。12冊）『類聚大補任』（1問3337号。3冊）『神宮諸雑記』（1門7512号。3冊）『伊勢勅使部類記』（1門2075号。7冊）『西宮記』（7門991号。20冊）『旧事記玄義』（1門11694号。5冊）である。その他、文庫設立当初より精力的に書写活動に従事していた三日市帯刀（橘秀治）の奉納本の一部を確認した。ただし閲覧に制限のある特殊本の確認には至っていない。加えて豊宮崎文庫の性格について、本来は文庫衆の利用を想定して作られたものが、長らく「外宮祠官の学問所」とされてきた背景には、承応の神訴と呼ばれる神宮の地位向上を狙った一連の活動があった事を指摘した「豊宮崎文庫と籍中について」（『日本学研究』第25号。2022年12月）を執筆した。
