项目摘要

本研究は、現代の消費生活協同組合における組合員の参加の再建が、その事業と地域の社会関係資本にいかに影響を及ぼすのかを、定性分析および定量分析の両面から探究することを目的としている。研究実施にあたっては（1）資料調査およびヒアリング調査に基づく組合員参加に関わる活動・制度の実態把握、（2）質問票調査による活動・制度の効果測定、（3）質問票調査による活動・制度の地域の社会関係資本にもたらす影響の分析の3つを計画した。令和4年度は、（1）に関わって令和1～3年度にかけて収集した先行研究・既存資料の分析を進め、2本の論文として取りまとめて公表した。1本目では、消費生活協同組合における現在の事業概要、とくに宅配事業の歴史的な発展と現在の概要を整理することで、組合員参加が生協にとっての競争優位として機能した点を論じた。2本目では、消費生活協同組合における各種組合員活動の意義について、主に先行研究を中心に整理した上で、その現状を生協組織の自己評価と再建の取り組みという点から整理した。いずれも、組合員の参加の再建による事業・社会的影響を検討するためのベースとなる成果である。とくに後者は調査対象となる組合員活動を整理するという点で重要な意味を持つものと言える。これらの成果を踏まえた上で、令和3年度に引き続き、定性調査及び定量調査の質問項目についても再度検討を行った。次年度においては、再度検討を行った質問項目に基づいて、定性及び定量調査を実施する計画を進めている。
