项目摘要

本研究の目的は、大腿骨骨折を経験した高齢女性に対して医療ソーシャルワーカーが行う効果的な退院援助を検討することである。患者が安心して在宅生活を送るためには、入院中から退院後の生活を見据えた支援が必要であるため、本研究では具体的に以下の2点を実施することにしている。1点目に、大腿骨骨折を経験した高齢者へのインタビュー調査により当事者が抱える生活課題を明らかにすると共に、地域のネットワーク状況を把握する。2点目に、回復期リハビリテーション病棟に勤務する医療ソーシャルワーカーを対象にインタビュー調査を実施し、大腿骨骨折患者への退院援助のプロセスと地域連携の関係性を分析する。本研究ではこれまで、先行研究及び研究者が取り組んできた研究成果を踏まえ、大腿骨骨折を経験した高齢者へのインタビュー調査を実施した。そして、調査結果の分析を論文としてまとめ、雑誌に掲載された。調査の分析を通じて、大腿骨骨折を経験した高齢者は骨折による身体的苦痛に加え、入院中から様々な精神的負担を感じていることが明らかとなった。さらに退院後の在宅生活を営むうえでも、その精神的負担は質を変えて引き継がれていることがわかった。入院中及び退院後の在宅生活それぞれにおける課題と、それを緩和・解決する要素となるストレングスが明らかとなった。回復期リハビリテーション病棟に勤務する医療ソーシャルワーカーへのインタビュー調査については、これまでコロナ禍での実施が難航していたが、2022年度後半から研究対象者と具体的な調整に入り実施しているところである。2023年度は医療ソーシャルワーカーへのインタビュー調査結果を整理・分析し、論文への投稿を目指して準備を進める予定である。
