项目摘要

昨年度までの結果を踏まえ、保育者が本研究で提案する「生き物を介した環境教育プログラム」を主体的に容易に実践していくためには、プログラム実践時の自由度（実践内容の状況に応じたアレンジ等）を高める必要があると考えられた。よって本年度は、実践してきた様々なプログラムが個々の保育現場で最適な形で実践されるようにするため、現場保育者による実践と評価を中心とした調査を実施し、現場保育者ならではのプログラムの活用方法及びアレンジ事例の収集を行った。また、収集した事例を多くの園で情報共有する方法についても検討し、保育者が事例を参照しながら自身の園の状況に応じた方法で取り組みを開始できるよう、昨年に引き続きプログラムのリデザインを行った。さらに、本研究の様々なプログラム内で使用している遊びツールについても、これまでに使用および評価が十分になされていなかった対象についてはさらなる調査を実施し、有効性や改善点の抽出を行った。当該年度の成果として、本研究でデザインされた環境教育プログラムや遊びツールは、若手以外の現場保育者についても環境教育の目的について理解し自然科学に対する興味関心を高める上で有効であることが明らかとなった。よって昨年度までの結果を踏まえると、本プログラムは保育経験の異なる幅広い対象者に有効であることが示された。また、現場保育者による実践からは、昨年度に実施したプログラム内容のリデザインを経て、各プログラムが現場保育者にとって自由にアレンジ可能な自由度の高い内容構成となっていることも確認出来た。最終年は、各プログラムの関連付けや内容の整理を行いながら「生き物を介した環境教育プログラム」の実践モデルを取りまとめるとともに、園や保育者が取り組む際の負担感を軽減する上で不可欠と考えられる個々のプログラムの具体的な実践事例についても引き続き収集及び蓄積していく予定である。
