研究課題１の多様な動きに関する現場の認識と取り組み状況の実態調査を、都内の公私立幼稚園（認定こども園を含む）に対して実施した。郵送によりアンケート調査を依頼し、WEB上のアンケートフォームに回答してもらう方法で約150名、約87園から回答を得た。幼児期運動指針について回答者の約半数近くが「知らない」「聞いたことはあるがあまり知らない」と回答、小学校体育科の学習指導要領の多様な動きをつくる運動（遊び）の内容について、半数以上が「知らない」「聞いたことはあるがあまり知らない」という回答だった。多様な動きの体験を目的として行っている活動があるかという質問には約90%が「ある」と回答、また多様な動きの体験を目的として行っている環境の構成があるかという質問には約75%が「ある」と回答した。詳細な分析をさらに進めて、多様な動きに関する現場の認識と取り組み状況の実態を把握したい。研究課題３に関連して、多様な動きの発見と体験を行うプログラムを、大学生を対象に検討・実施した。プログラムは、動きを身の周りから見出し、カードに書き込んで集めて来ることが第一段階、各人の集めたいくつかの動きを他の人の前で動いて見せるという第二段階、第三段階では自分の集めた動きを他の人に言葉や動きの見本となり教えるという内容である。さらに最終段階として、各人から集まった動きの一つ一つをグループで再構築して、新しいひとつながりの動きを創り、動いて発表するというものである。このプログラムが参加者にとって多様な動きの体験になっているか、参加者が集めた動きの分析と参加者への聞き取り調査から考察を行った。
